We offer an extensive choice of artistic talent at very high standards, everything is produced and made by hand, including work by silver and goldsmiths using precious gemstones, objects and sculptures from a variety of materials, icons, musical instruments, you will also find objects from ceramic, glass, wood, metal, paper, leather and textiles, natural materials, candles, soap and much more.

A  colourful programme of events awaits you on stage on Haidplatz and the Kohlenmarkt, including music, theatre, pantomime and magic!
„aqua planing“
An exhibition by the female artists from the Lucrezia Market on the theme of Water.
We await with much expectation the 13th Lucrezia Market Exhibition:
Made up exclusively of female artists, who show their theme work about Water under the title of „aqua-planing“. 15 female artists show work in this community exhibition on water and show us through the many different interpretations of aqua planing, and other water characteristics, features and implications at close quarters. The artists are also in their element; gentle, clear, refreshing, exciting, secretive, gushing, unexpected, lively, leaving one in the cold.... The result of their activities is the communal project „Wet Cell“, a water sculpture in the inner courtyard.
Children
Together with the City Library, we are offering a
colourful mix of courses and workshops for children with the artists from the Market. A beautifully hand-crafted revolving fairground carousel invites you for a ride on the Kohlenmarkt. Also on Haidplatz children can enjoy bowling and enjoy themselves with the clowns!
Protecting the Climate
This year along, with our social engagements, our attention has turned to using the right sort of energy.
We want to take some responsibility to protect our climate and energy resources by being pro-active: for the entirety of the Market in 2007 we are using 100% Eco electricity from renewable sources, decreasing the usage of nuclear energy and reducing the glass-house effect.
As a result of these perspectives on Climate Change, we have not only changed our electricity source for the Market but have also installed low energy bulbs to drastically reduce our energy usage. So this year we can light up our stands with a peaceful mind and conscience, and let the visitors enjoy a lovely atmosphere in the heart of Regensburg in the knowledge that, with your help, we are protecting our environment as well.
